“The forest within” is a trilogy of the search of inner self, completed by three or the multiply of three. Accompanies by a piece of 9 minutes music, audiences are invited to walk into a secluded forest, where one could easily lose their way in its vast expanse and seemingly monotonous environment. Yet, within this wilderness, by reaching the roots rooted in our hearts, the origin and the path ahead become clearer.

 

The project comprises a moving image and three sets of artworks: “A forest”, “The forest within”, “Dancing in the woods”. In “The forest within”, three sets of mirrors are combined, beginning with the search for the path ahead within a completely dark and confined space. Darkness allows us to clearly see the light and realise its preciousness. It then continues to a moment of rest, where one touches their inner roots. The journey ends at an awakening of mind, as light shines upon you and within you.
